In today's landscape, all organizations, irrespective of size and complexity, face increasing challenges in effectively managing their data protection obligations. With the proliferation of data and AI, new emerging threats, and the ever-evolving regulatory landscape, it’s challenging for organizations to feel confident about their trust posture. For the most part, this is not for lack of trying, but it’s about the scale of data and the challenges it brings to map it back to your commitments and obligations.

If I could design a perfect data protection and trust stack, I'd choose a combination of privacy-focused technology, data catalog and governance tools, and security tools like DSPMs or CSPMs. Despite each of these tools being sophisticated, they lack the ability to contextualize information based on your commitments and obligations. What data retention promises have I made to customers? What assurances have I given regulators about the type of data my vendors process and where? Am I adhering to the principle of least privilege in terms of data access? When you're unsure of your obligations and whether you're fulfilling them, you risk damaging your main currency in the organization: trust.

To help our customers solve this, we are excited to launch our newest product offering, Asset Intelligence and Data Posture Management. Relyance has always taken pride in its ability to provide comprehensive visibility into your commitments and obligations with vendors, customers, or data partners. Whether it's our sophisticated machine learning used for analyzing your third-party contracts, our proprietary static code analysis and runtime analysis code bases, ML pipelines, or our native data store connectors, we strive to offer a complete view of your data ecosystem based on the obligations outlined in your policies and contracts. With this new offering, we now go a step further and provide unprecedented visibility for our customers to explore their data assets further to answer fundamental questions like:

  • What type of sensitive data do I have, and where?
  • Who has access to these assets that contain sensitive data?
  • Where is this data physically hosted?
  • How does this data landscape impact my obligations and commitments?

With Asset Intelligence and Data Posture Management, we focus on delivering these benefits to our users.

Creating a unified governance layer

We are enabling our customers to monitor assets across their entire ecosystem and gain visibility into rich metadata in the context of their obligations.

  • Visualize data assets and the proliferation of sensitive data across the ecosystem to make sense of it in the context of your obligations.
  • Use Relyance AI’s Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities to gain visibility into the security posture of the data, who has access to it, and where it’s located.
  • Eliminate blind spots and identify shadow data.

Taking action when it matters the most

We are enabling our customers to swiftly take action with AI-powered monitoring and observability for compliance and security risks. If there is a mismatch between your practices and obligations, we will flag it, and at scale.

  • Combine Relyance AI’s DSPM and Compliance intelligence to take action on potential violations such as data residency or data retention violations.
  • View violations in the context of your obligations to vendors, customers, and partners.
  • View risky assets at a glance and collaborate seamlessly with your teams to resolve risks.

Unlocking end-to-end lineage

This forms the core foundation for uncovering end-to-end lineage, assisting our customers in gaining visibility into detailed data flows across their application stack. This includes everything from your microservices and ML pipelines to data assets, allowing for early identification of potential risks before they escalate into problems.

  • Get complete visibility into data flows across the entire application stack and catch potential risks early before they become issues.
  • Unlock comprehensive data oversight.

We look forward to embarking on this journey with our customers. Our ethos at Relyance AI has always been to advance technology to build best-in-class data protection programs and Asset Intelligence and Data Posture Management is a big step for us in that journey.
